Which do i like better the film or the book?

Of course, the book is an absolutely brilliant classic but i think i preferred the film because:
. They cut out the long parts.
. It was easy for everyone to understand, and more people can watch since people that are not very good readers, or to young to understand what's in it can not enjoy the book but can enjoy this.
. They included more quotes from the book then i thought they would but you could still understand it.
. It was just (and you must give the book credit for this) a really juicy story and there was really good acting.

i think, yes of course the book is better, we all know it's a classic full of amazing literature, but for a 1 time thing and for a perhaps less literate person i prefer the film. it was much, much better then i expected, and i recommend that you all see it!

Pros and cons of film

Pros:
.They managed to select the best parts form the book and put them all in the film. It was quite long, so, unlike i expected they managed to fit everything in, and again even better cut out the slightly long parts. Therefore everything was full of emotion, and there was not a dull moment.
.Also the whole mystery of the wife was more mysterious then in the book and which i thought was quite effective. They did very well in including lots of the old language and quotes from the book and managed to keep the traditional atmosphere in the film.

Cons :
I honestly cant think of any apart form that they could have made a bit more of her schooling, which i the book was a very big part, and that they could have included more of the part when Mr Rochester invites guests to stay because that was quite important and interesting in the book. Especially make more over the Miss Ingrim.

Jane Eyre pros and cons of book

Unlike the film, i felt the book was rather long. However packed full of beautiful language, and a gripping story. Charlotte Brontë published  Jane Eyre under the pseudonym Currer Bell. This was because it would be much  harder for a woman in those days to write, since it was a men'' s job. I thought the book was so different to usual love stories; for the reasons that he was ugly and at times sarcastic and unpleasant, she was quiet and plain but they could still fill this huge burden of love. Also she makes most of the important decisions in the book, for example that it would be best for her to leave him.
So the main pros:
. Although shy, has an independent heroine.
. Great characters.
.Descriptive beautiful language
. Famous love quotes, some of which are actually easy to understand and could be in modern books written today. eg: Prejudices, it is well known, are most difficult to eradicate from the heart whose soil has never been loosened or fertilised by education: they grow there, firm as weeds among stones." which in easier language is just like saying prejiduces are hard to get rid of they stay there in your heart.
Some other quotes:
Jane Eyre thinking about Mr Rochester:
He is not to them what he is to me," I thought: "he is not of their kind. I believe he is of mine; – I am sure he is, – I feel akin to him, – I understand the language of his countenance and movements: though rank and wealth sever us widely, I have something in my brain and heart, in my blood and nerves, that assimilates me mentally to him.

Few cons:
.Could have been a bit shorter they dragged out the part where she meets Mr Rochester but they are not engaged or in love.
. Some things were a bit to long and again, could have been shorter.
