This blog is for my part B arts award.
. I watched Jane Eyre in the Odeon Cinema in Camden
. I read the full unabridged book.
I have shared my thoughts by showing the pros and cons of each, the book and the film, and then comparing them.
I have also drawn a picture of Jane Eyre in my mind and explained why i drew it the way i did.

My version of Jane Eyre
I think the girl who played Jane Eyre in the 2011 film version, Mia Wasikowska, was better looking then i expected, plain and timid, yet slightly pretty. However, Mr Rochester said in the book, along with many other similar quotes about both of thier appearances, 'you are not pretty any more than I am handsome!' This means that Charlotte Brontee wanted an ugly girl, an unusual, normal girl. That's why she would probabaly not like my drawing of Jane Eyre, for it is to pretty. However my Jane has, in my opinion, the right kind of expression, firm yet quizzical, and is wearing simple yet fitting bonnet with a governesses dress that, although drawn in black in white, indicates that in reality the dress ould still be industrial colours like blacks, greys, blues and whites.
